I was playing AC:NL at my brother's hockey game. I started talking to Biff, but then didn't continue on with the conversation for a couple minutes (got caught up talking to my mom). When I returned to the game and pressed 'A', a blank text box popped up and I couldn't advance past it. I was forced to reset my game, which of course, caused me to lose the stuff I had done that whole hour.
Does anyone know why this happened? Has it ever happened to you?
that's strange, never happened to me. do you have a cartridge or digital download? i have a physical copy and sometimes it freezes. not too often but it's always very annoying when it happens : -(
Never had that problem and never will ( Unless I drop it or some physical damage on my cartridge ) Usually glitches like freezing,missing texts, are usually problems in the cartridge. Eg: Physically Damaged(Cracks) Or small "dust" in the cartridge. Like what happened to those NES cartridges. Those had loads of glitches. But if that's not the case, it's either a problem in the digital download. :[
I have a physical copy.
My cartridge isn't physically damaged, and I really don't think there's any dust in it. My cartridge is always either in my 3DS or in its game "pocket".
I honestly don't know what happened. I'm just hoping it won't happen again. I'm still mad I lost my two new museum donations >: (
