Why... Why did she leave? After about 2 months of ignoring Anchovy to get him to move out he stays. After 3 days of not playing due to Pokemon OR/AS Gladys decides to up and leave. I talked to Gladys everyday since I bought the game. She and Roald became my favorite villagers. She just up and left. Times like this really make me want to just quit the game entirely.

Awww I feel bad for you! I also have Gladys and I adore her too ♡
But don't quit, or Roald will be sad! I am sure you will be able to find a new, great villager! Though I an imagine it would not help the loss of Gladys.

Hang in there! =)

Well I feel really bad for not talking to Tex more. Tex is a really cool penguin like Roald. Sometimes I take Tex's friendliness for granted, but I think that should change. The only thing I can't get over is that Gladys is gone. Will she remember me if I get her back from someone else or not? I mean I started with her in my village, and sometimes I swear she was a better friend than some actual people I know.

I've found that villagers with a higher friendship level are more prone to leaving than ones with little to no friendship.

...this I found out after the struggle to get Pietro out of my town. I'm surprised you held up ignoring Anchovy for two months...I only made it about 2-3 weeks of ignoring Pietro before I gave up and tried befriending him instead. After that, he was the first to ping to tell me he was moving.

Welp, if you want Gladys back, you can do a 16 villager cycle...but just a word of warning, it's boring, dull, time consuming, and mind numbing. I'm a week in and only halfway back to getting Purrl back. Sometimes, this game just has really dumb mechanics.

Yup. The game wants you to have a chance with "making friends" before they move.
It's heartbreaking, really. Imagining someone not knowing. They love one villager, hate the other, but the one they love moves away. Great going, Nintendo.

I'm sorry that you lost her! :( I lost Roscoe earlier for not being on for about 6 days due to playing Super Smash Bros for 3DS. It always stinks to lose a favorite villager, I feel ya

I'm sorry Gladys left you :c I hate the game mechanics with moving villagers. I remember trying to ignore Whitney for quite a while after I had befriended her, but she never pinged (because she was my 10th villager), so I had to kick Francine out :(

Imo, Anchovy needs more love :')

._. You can have mine...I dont want her/him..So If you can gie me an idea to get him/her out...I could do that...

It's not really that simple. OP has to move out 16 villagers before they can get another Gladys...unless he has the patience to cycle 26 villagers (most efficient method, move out 10 dreamies then 2y5d), then it's likely he'll never get her back in her town.

OP I'm sorry to hear that, that's happened to me multiple times as well...

I know how it feels to loose a favorite villager, especially unexpectedly. You have my sympathies. :(
Don't quit playing though! You may find someone you love even more if you keep going!
