Give me some basement ideas/opinion >.<

I have completed my other mayor's rooms and only left my basement lol. Previously I had kitchen and then game room but they doesn't work out well so I still changing them...currently trying to set up as art room but I still need a little opinion on this~

I will list down my other rooms so there will not be repetitive idea =D
I have
main room as waiting room with piano and sort, like a reception
left room as gardening room
center room as sweet and dessert room for my guest
right room as my mayor office and study room
upper room as my bedroom with princess series decoration =D

So I have this concept for my overall rooms, I am one wealthy mayor living in the town of Windbell, and my overall town look really harmony, peaceful, with my alt house turning into one small inn/hotel(WIP) but....the darkest part of the town come from the mayor's basement lol. However it can also be just one normal nice room to blend in with the others =D but I though the twisted version would be nicer xD

First I thought of making the basement one bloody kitchen but I have no idea how to turn it into horror looking then now I will list some of my ideas and please give opinion how should I improve or what should I do to make it better or you have a much better idea to suggest is welcome =D

My idea:
1)Horror kitchen with maybe skeleton? Hiding behind the wooden box and you won't see it unless you rotate the room, it will look like one normal kitchen with food and seafood (sea-diving creatures) and dark, light turn off.
2)Art room portraying actually the mayor is one con-artist drawing and duplicating fake art (from Redd) with the screen behind have aluminum case to make up a story of accepting bribery lol. Or you think I should just make it a normal art room cause I love drawing too =D
3) Game room, arcade business cause I love game so much I thought a game room will be nice =D but doesn't have nice idea and arrangement so I forfeited it lol ><
4)A normal display room for my trophies and HHA awards and all the achievement I got =D along with 12 zodiac display~
5) Tell me what should I do better?

O.O how?? sloppy? I thought my mayor should actually explain where the wealth come from =D I mean, just make a story of my town lol~~or what did the mayor do actually xD besides handling the town =D

I have lots of bookcase in my mayor room so I was thinking the art room will be better cause it match my real personality too =D but should I make it one twisted one or just an ordinary art room xD

When I expand my mayor's house, I plan on making the basement a little greenhouse. If that sounds like something you'd like.

I turned my basement into an underground backyard for a while. Picnic table, hammock, backyard pool, that kind of stuff.

You could also turn it into the place where a long-dead pirate buried his most treasured booty. Yarr.

I like the idea of a bar!! XD but the hardest part for me is I haven't see the vision of the room and what type of wallpaper to bring out the feel >< probably take more time but everyone here give me some really good idea and I will try to further develop it xD

I kinda want to turn mine into a jam/music room with a metal floor and assorted instruments such as guitars, a piano, the string family, and some apms and mics. I think it'd be neat to add some sloppy furniture like the stereo and couch.

I turned mine into a game room! Big screen TV, lotsa games, pool table, low lighting, neon sign, LCD screens displaying custom messages, the works.

Mine is a zodiac room with the chinese set and the astrological set. I used the cloud flooring and lunar horizon so it looks all mystical

An arcade is cool too. Or you could also try a personal gym.

I've been debating between a few things: the Danger Room from the Xavier Institute, the bridge of the starship Enterprise, or an arcade/game room full of nerdy, girly goodness. Obviously, some of my ideas are harder to pull off than others, but it'd be awesome nonetheless! ^_^
