Righty, here's the deal. I've been trying to get Melba and Molly, but nada. No luck. I just got Derwin to move out and I was very happy, but I just loaded and GIGI has placed her plot down on my apple trees. Is there any way of resettin' so she doesn't move in? Her house is RIGHT NEXT TO MINE, too.

(Keep in mind I just built the reset centre and Resetti gave me a heart attack.)

Once you load your mayor, there's nothing you can do. Gigi's plot is there to stay unless you move her out. Apple trees can be replaced, so it's not that big a deal (if that was the last of your natural fruit/perfect fruit, then I'm sure people will be happy to donate so you can get things back to the way they were).

The only way to change where a villager plots is to do the reset trick...
Disclaimer: some save files can become corrupted with this method. Rare, but it's not impossible, so do this at your own risk.
- If you don't have 4 save slots (Mayor and 3 villagers) already, then create a new character on the day a villager is supposed to plot (can be hard to predict with Streetpass movers, when you have less than 9, etc).
- Go through the usual spiel with Rover, Isabelle, etc. Before you make a house, get an ID, etc. check where the expectant plot is. Like it? Save with the character you made and load your mayor. Hate it? Before you can save on that file, exit out of the game and rinse and repeat until the plot moves to an acceptable location (note: this trick not only randomizes the plot - until your mayor is loaded - but also the villager if it was RNG at play).

I say just try to TT her out. That's what I do in my other town. Just use the Villager Move Out Guide. It is actually really simple. You can get a villager you want out in less than 5 minutes :> Its pretty reliable and I have only accidentally moved out one of my dear villagers in an old town doing this. Be cautious about using this though. If you're not careful one of your fav villagers might move out D:

Lol, good ol' Resetti. You're probably just going to have to wait until she moves out now. Or technically until someone else moves in/out first and then her otherwise she won't move on her own.

Not saying that's false but it's literally the first time I'm hearing about a save getting corrupted because of the reset trick.
