I was wondering if anyone else was finding it difficult to get gifts to send to friends?

They're given to you by animals visiting your camp site and daily as login bonuses, I think.

Thank you for the reply. I just feel guilty if I get gifts and I can't return them. Just thought I would get more from the random animals

That's sort of the unfortunate nature of the event right now. You'll probably receive a lot more than you actually are capable of giving, so it doesn't really foster community as you would expect it to.
