Gifs in posts?

Is there a way to use Gifs in my threads? I've tried posting them but they become regular pictures...

Upload them to an image hosting site (imgur, tinypic, photobucket, etc.) then use the

tags and it should work perfectly fine. :>

Just be sure to add some relevant text to your post so you don't get a post quality warning! In other words don't type something random to go with your picture post, type something that has to do with the thread.
