Getting over the fear of roller coasters?

I wasn't a fan of roller coasters, but eventually as I got older and tried getting on few numerous times over and over again. It gradually let me lose the fear of riding one.. now I'm practically in line to get on the first front row seat even! LOL
Idk that whole adrenaline rush you get from riding a roller coaster or watching a horror flick really excites me >u<
but yeah definitely if you don't feel comfortable riding I suggest you just ride other minor ones around the park if anything ~
it takes time for some people to get over their fears whatnot. Hope you guys have fun & be safe!! c:

I always think, "Well if the ride breaks down and I get hurt, I can always sue them for a ton of money". Always helps me stay calm.
But of course this wouldn't help if you die on the ride. Which wont happen anyway. These rides are tested daily prior to opening. But hey, freak accidents happen everyday. Keep in mind that you have a better chance dying on the way to the amusement park other than the rides themselves

To be honest I kinda just had to get on with people I trust I held my little brothers hand the first time and it helped lol and I'm a big chicken, so I'm sure you'll be fine!

- grab a copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
- find pictures of all the rollercoasters you're possibly going to ride
- build them in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and ride them a hundred times with the camera set to CoasterCam

This movie took my fear of Roller Coasters to the next level in which i would basically run and hide to avoid riding one.

I'm very scared of coasters, especially the drop feeling. My friends and family would force me to ride such horrific forms of fun but i would just resist.

I'm 14 and i still ride little roller coasters.

I used to be really scared of roller coasters that had loops. Then we went to Disneyland and I chickened out of going on the California Screamin'. I sort of started to regret it after the trip, so I watched a POV video on YouTube of the ride, and the loop didn't look that bad. I went on it the next time I went to Disneyland and it was ridiculously fun! So you could always try that. Or just start by going on smaller roller coasters that aren't super high or hilly? Then work your way up as you have more fun. Maybe the adrenaline will kick in and you'll WANT to go on the bigger ones haha!

I'm pretty scared of roller coasters as well. I hate the feeling of dropping down. However on a school trip to King's Island, I was peer pressured into riding roller coasters because of friends. It wasn't too bad, and I enjoyed it the more times I tried. I recommend starting off with less intense roller coasters. Also closing my eyes helps me for some reason, though it might not work for some people. If you are absolutely terrified, don't ride them.

Well the worst thing that can happen on these rides is that you plummet to your untimely death. But if that doesn't happen it will be a super fun happy time. Yay!
