Getting Fantasy LIfe soon! Need help/tips. :)

I ordered it from Amazon a couple hours ago. I'm going to probably watch some gameplay later, but still I have some questions.

I've heard there's like different people to be you cn choose from. I know there's a cook/blacksmith. What did/would you pick and why?

I started out with a blacksmith. Just because I didn't wanna feel generic and pick a paladin or something. Soon after choosing the blacksmith, I decided I wanted to try something different. Not that I didn't like the blacksmith. Just wanted to try other things. So I chose cook. I'm now an expert cook. I like cook because it seems fun to me to run around and find your own ingredients and stuff like that and create a dish out of it!
Just last night I switched to tailor to give it a try, and I'm leveling up fairly quickly. I'm about halfway to an the expert rank for that now. I love the tailor as well, and you make quite a bit of money from selling the clothes and stuff. But I believe it might be hard to do tailor If you don't have the three main areas unlocked since you can't find many of the ingredients in the first town.

I got the game yesterday! *u* its pretty fun and I've been playing it til now even with the restocks lol. I started with the hunter because, well, I always do LOL idk I just like using the bow and arrow more than the sword. Prefer fighting from a certain range than close up. I'm planning to try the wizard next and then the cook!

I'm obviously not into swords and shields.
