Getting back into ACNH

ik many ppl wouldn’t want to do this due to attachment to their island, villagers, etc but i played this game non-stop when it first came out and then i didn’t touch it for months but a couple weeks ago i decided to completely restart and now i can’t put my switch down again

I actually did this!!! Back in the summer I was going through a lot of major life changes and decided I should restart my town. I was discouraged not having everything I had before though, and it kinda kept me from playing for a while but after seeing the new update im really excited and think ill try to get back into decorating with what I have again c:

i'm still struggling with this. I think it helps to take a weekend when I'm free to set goals for my gameplay: for instance, I'd like to make a "neighborhood" of villager homes, and I'll set a goal to design one "square" of villager home and surroundings. I've also had to come to terms with either paying for seasonal DIY/materials or just living without.

I am on my second town and I haven't had any inspiration or found a right theme for the town. Doesn't seem much there is to do for me except wait to see what the future update has to offer.

Completely redecorating my house got me back into it. Interior decorating is one of my favorite things to do in animal crossing games.
