I've been thinking about it the last few days. I have her photo and while I love her design very much part of me is ready to move on. Ashamed to admit it but the main reason I got her was because she was really wanted and that made me want her? I did end up loving her regardless and enjoying seeing her on my island. But now I'm just feeling it is time to let her move and allow other villagers to move in. It's hard cause once she is gone she's gone for good and it will be a hassle to get her back but at the same time I just... AHHHHHH.

I can write you a permission slip to let any of your villagers go if you are just not feeling it anymore!

Seriously, it is ok to rotate out villagers whenever you feel like you are done with them. It doesn't matter how "popular" or "not popular" they are.

If you don't connect to her or really care for her to the point where you're thinking about moving her out, then that's what you should do. Maybe you'll find a villager you can connect with that you didn't expect to regardless of design.

If you dont like them then let them leave . I mean yes it would be hard get them back though...

Yep, as other mentioned, the end game with a villager IMO is to get their photo. Now that you have it and you don't have that deep connection with said villager, it's okay to move on.

I had this problem too. I had her photo and loved her, but I wanted other snooties. I decided to let her go and someone gave me a lot of tbt for her. I mean that’s great but she will be missed. I just felt how you did.

Yes if you don't feel as connected with her as you probably should by now especially when you already have her photo then I think you should move on with another villager that you may like better.

As long as you have a villager in mind that you think would be a good replacement. Since one of my problems sometimes is that I think of moving someone out, but then I have a hard decision deciding who to move in. Then since the decision is too hard to make, I just stick to the original villager. 😅

Keep her around until she decides to leave naturally, and then make a decision. Why hurry kicking her out if you like her anyway? I had the same problem with Katt - part of me wanted to let her go, but I couldn't imagine my town without her. But in my case, Katt is easy to get back, while Judy...isn't. So, yeah, if you like having Judy around - keep her for now. It's never late to kick villager out, but it's will be sad if you'll end up regretting

The moment you feel you can live without a villager, it means you’re not that into them. So let them go.

Agreed. I think this will not only be a more satisfying narrative but it will give you time to think about who you want in place of her.

Don't feel bad about it.
I felt bad about letting Sherb go (I forgot about pictures lol) but after I did I went through some villagers and got hopkins as my lazy and its just better.
I even had Judy and I liked her well enough but I gave her to my sister who wanted her more.
I hesitated because they are both good villgers to the point the rarity made it hard to admit they weren't for me.
