How do you get non-native fruit in Wild World?

By visiting other people's towns. Unfortunately Nintendo shut down the wifi services, but you can still visit other players' towns via local play.

try sending a letter to one of your villagers with your native fruit attached as a present c:

If I remember correctly, what I've done is written a one line letter and attached a porceletta (seashell because it's one of the cheapest things to sell). I don't think you have to send fruit. I believe your neighbor will either send fruit, clothing, or nothing. Hope this helps!
