I'd like to start getting some of my dreamies, and move out two villagers so I can fit them in. I don't want to time travel because I just don't roll that way. Is there a fast method to move out the unwanted villagers and get my dreamies?

Some have said that by starting a new character when you get a new villager and greeting everyone but said villager will make them move out faster, not sure if this really works as I have traded for most of my Dream Villagers after villagers I didn't want had left. I think it's supposed to be where you make the new character and keep greeting every villager for a whole week EXCEPT the one you don't want and they will move the next day. However I realize that isn't by any means a fast method ;_;

I doubt there's any other relatively fast way besides TTing. I wish I could help you, but you just gotta have patience then until someone you don't want pings and decides to leave. The new character thing is just to do the ignoring method. You can also befriend them and eventually they'll want to leave that way, but either way I think that's completely random. As long as you're careful and TT one day at a time then there would be no problems. Plus, there's a guide on here about villager rumors, it seemed to have helped lots of people and it helped me with moving out Diva since I was tired of constantly talking to my safety nets.

I tried it twice and it worked the first time but not the second. It might have just been coincidence that it worked once or maybe it does increase the chances of that villager moving. I'd say it's worth a try if you're desperate.

This works, but you'll need TT to speed it up. Really if you don't TT and want something fast then there's really nothing, because most methods require TTing to be at an optimal pace. You can get your dreamies by campsite resetting with 8/9 villagers though.

I don't TT and the fastest method of moving out villagers is always having 10 villagers at a time.

A villager will be asking to move out every day or every other day if your town is full/has 10 villagers. Just be careful and stop the villagers you want to keep from moving.

Wooo more people who don't like to time travel! I thought we were an extinct breed.
I can back up what the person above me has said though. Always having a full village tends to lead to more frequent pings for me. All of my obtained dreamies have pinged me to move and I've told them to stay, so I'm trying to move out one last unwanted. Right now I'm talking to everyone except this unwanted villager, and I'm writing letters/giving presents to everyone except the unwanted. I hear that helps.
Good luck with getting all of your dreamies though! Don't lose faith in not time traveling. It might take a bit longer to get what you want, but it's all so very satisfying when it finally does happen.

Alright, thanks! I'm planning on getting Bluebear first.
