Ended up choosing Sprig in the end which was the one I liked the most from the beginning. Seeing the final evos sealed the deal though.

A lot of people don’t seem to like the starters this time but I think they are definitely superior to gen 8.

I am not going to be playing Pokemon Scarlet/Violet but my favorite starter of this generation is Quaxly the water duck
I'm quite surprised it's actually the second favorited one on the poll I was expecting Fuecoco to be more liked for some reason

I ended up picking Fuecoco, having originally voted Quaxly when the games were announced.

This has been the first generation where I have ditched my starter completely. I don't really vibe with any of the final evolutions.

I chose Quaxly but I also got a Japanese Sprigatito from a Surprise trade that I evolved into Meowscarada.

Chose Quaxly, but ended up putting him in the box as he wasn't fully vibing in my team
