Garry's Mod for Mac "isn't going to be ages away," according to creator Garry Newman. The popular Steam application is progressing, with Newman stating that it "works," but that there are bugs to work out.

Newman doesn't give a release window, but does mention in another post that he's been impressed how easy the porting process has been with the Mac version of Valve's Source engine.

Good news for the mac users out there.

I like how this thread is already going to *censored.2.0*, gotta love the TBT community >_>

Anyway, I personally love Garry's Mod. Can't wait to play it on my MBP.

Don't start being idiots in this thread. At least wait until the Mac users get here.

But if you don't know, Garry's Mod is a sandbox game involving the Source Engine.
It let's you manipulate ragdolls, objects. Build a bathtub racer.

@Jas0n, yeah it's great that Garry worked on it quickly. Most Mac users should be quite happy now, with what they are getting. Also shows that Macs are becoming more of a platform for games. But that stereotype will always remain.
