Gamestop question

Ok, so I have the first DS that ever game out, and the hinge is broken, and I can't send it in to Nintendo because the warranty code thing is worn away. My dad tried to fix, and now its completely broken. Does anyone know if GameStop will take this for either the trade-in your old DS and get a new one for $89.99 deal or will they just give me game credit?

EDIT: Nevermid, we just called them and they said they'll take it but they charge me $25.00 since its broken.

I don't think they'd take it if it was broken, especially if you totally voided your warranty by attempting to fix it yourself.

My answer is gonna be no, you won't get anything.

They probably will take it, but for a very small price. They won't pay you as much as a good DS.

Yeah, they said they'll take it but charge 25 bucks. So, I dont really know how much I'll be paying for a lite T_T

They charge a refrubish fee. I got a Blue and Black DS Litle for 99 bucks. Tell me that aint a bargain.
