Its my birthday next week, and i am going to pick out a couple 3DS games. I am looking for some that are similar to new leaf, i love simulation games. Im a 16 yr old girl if that matters, (or i will be next week!) i was thinking of trying tomadatchi life, i heard thats kind of fun. for some reason, im not in the mod for any action games, i usually like them though, unless there are any amazing ones you recommend to me. Thank you! xo

I'd only get Tomodachi Life if you enjoy temporary pleasure in games. It tends to get repetitive. I'd recommend Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate or Story of Seasons. Both take some time to become acquainted with, but are very enjoyable once you get the hang of things.

Kid Icarus Uprising and the wifi mode is fun
Epic Mickey Power of Illusion takes ages, I still haven't beat it and it has been 2 years XD
Sakura Samurai is pretty good

Well then, I hope you have a happy birthday then!

I personally don't have any other simulation games to recommend, but I could advise you to maybe not go right for Tomodachi Life. Like DDF said, it's a lot of the same thing, so if you don't like that too much, then I'd stay clear.

If I may recommend favourites out of my game library, I'd advise Luigi's Mansion 2/Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (depending on where you are). It does have a little bit of action in it, but not too much- you do still have quite a bit of focus on exploring the mansion set out in front of you.

Like others suggested, Kid Icarus: Uprising is a fantastic game, but there is a lot of action in it, so I wouldn't recommend it right now unless you're willing to set aside the game until you're in a mood for it.

If you can get your hands on them, and if you've never tried them before, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D are two superb games that you can also pick up. Yes, they contain action too, but in the overworld, you can easily run past any enemies unless you're low on hearts- and even the dungeons revolve more around puzzle-solving than actual fighting. There's also a lot of focus on exploring, as you're rewarded to go out of your way and look around in the overworld and even in dungeons.

Kid icarus: uprising
Fantasy Life

Tomodachi was temporarily fun for me but i never play it anymore

I've heard that Tomodachi Life gets pretty boring after a while though.....

hmm... maybe Rune Factory 4?

Fantasy Life is really fun time killer EXP gaining grind if youre into that

Harvest Moon A New Beginning is great fun and quite massive. Also fantasy life is kinda action oriented but never feels that way, if that makes sense and it has many hours of gameplay and a lot of humor. I think checking reviews for these games might be worthwhile. I got Harvest Moon on sale as a digital download for only 10$, so that was a big advantage. I recently downloaded Rune Factory 4 and that looks to be good as well. Haven`t played it to much in honesty, because i`m kneedeep in Monster Hunter 4.

Check the reviews of the many suggestions, I would suggest, there are so many good games out for 3DS its become quite difficult to choose.
