Games that fill the AC void

I'd say Rune Factory Frontier and Rune Factory 4. Yeah they aren't like AC games but it occupies me for a while. Since I began RFF not long ago, I still have lots to do, I haven't even unlocked all the Bachelorettes yet (srsly Cinnamon where are you)? I'm occupied by goals, such as dungeon grinding for a material, then raising my level to be able to craft the next weapon up, then going and fighting monsters to raise my defense to when I tame a silver wolf they don't defeat me in 2 bites.

everyone has probably already said Stardew Valley but it really is a good AC filler game

I see a lot of you are saying Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons and Stardew Valley and I raise you Farm Together. I was so skeptical about it but its so worth $20. There's an infinite amount of things to do and you get a huge, ever expanding farm with crops, animals, trees, etc. You can even make a house that has full customization. I've been playing it non stop and I really think its going to hold me over until Animal Crossing. There's a ton of things to unlock and level up, and has cooking, painting, etc. You can have up to 8 people join you on your farm and you level up your character to unlock customization. I could go on for this for hours, look up some reviews on it, they're all overwhelmingly positive. There's no stress of animals starving if you don't feed them or crops dying if you don't water/harvest them. It's so relaxing and I can pick it up all throughout the day.

If anyone has it for the switch, let me know so we can play together! It's also available for Xbox One and PC but I don't believe they're cross compatible yet.

Sounds great omg I'm going to check it out---currently playing Stardew Valley but I still have a bit of "meh" feelings towards it in terms of customization and multiplayer. Plus, the SV pet doesn't do anything so I miss more NPC and "real people" interaction immensely. D,: Seems like it would be less stressful for me than SV as well. A nice medium in between ACNL and SV. Thanks for the heads up!
