Any recommendations for games similar to Torchlight or Diablo? I?ve played Torchlight II and Diablo 3. I?ve looked at the ?similar game? suggestions on Steam, and I guess the Van Helsing games are similar, but I didn?t like it as much. Preferably PC because I don?t have any consoles. ;3;

My hubby really likes playing Path of Exile; it's his absolute favourite game. He compares it to something like Diablo 2, as that's what the makers of Path of Exile thought Diablo 3 was supposed to be like. It'll be a lot more complicated than Diablo, but it's completely free. And it's on the PC! :D

If you like games like Diablo, i recommend checking out Lost Ark. The game isn't out yet unfortunately, but the western release should be out sometime next year. (Its already out in Korea)

Thank you both! It kind of freaks me out that both are MMORPGs, I'm not super comfortable playing those since I'm usually terrible and I like playing solo. However, since Path of Exile is free, if I don't like it, it's not like I'm down a bunch of money. Hmm, good things to look at, might watch some Let's Plays first. Thanks, again! :D

Edit: ok, now that I am looking at Path of Exile, I think I have tried this before and I liked it! You can be a witch, and I remember trying that class first. I also remember it being EXTREMELY difficult, lol. Could be a good challenge to try to pick-up again. Soti, does your husband have any tips? xD

One thing I can say is that Steam allows you to refund any game you've purchased within 2 weeks, if you've played less than 4 hours. So, if you don't like any game - you don't need to worry about it. Just go to "Support" page, type the game's title and there will be the option for a refund. Steam approves all refunds, unles you're asking for too many (10+ games) within a short period of time.

Also to find similar games, I'd suggest you to check the official websites of the companies you like, they usually contain a ton of useful information. And you can also search by tags in Steam - for example, the game you liked is using a top-view system (view from the top), so you can just click on that tag and you'll see all games that are marked with this tag. Very useful. :)
