Games/characters that get a lot of hate that don't deserve it/Overrated games

What are some games/characters that get a lot of hate, who really don't deserve it? I'm talking about in Nintendo, which is filled with a handful of dudebros. The gaming community is filled with a lot of hate, and frankly it's ridiculous.

My list of things that don't deserve hate is the following: Ilia from TP (I will protect her i love her she is my child), also Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks get a lot of hate while quite frankly, they were some really good games. They knock OoT out of the water imo.

Ocarina of Time is an extremely overrated game, And Gen I of pokemon. It's all nostalgia with OoT and RBY,.

Super Mario Sunshine is overrated. In my opinion it is one of the worst mario games.

not really anymore, its kinda like wind waker. People hated it at first but now they love it (the only difference is that wind waker deserves the praise).

OoT will forever be one best Zelda's of all time u will just have to deal with that some how. As for characters who get hate hard to Say what people like changes from GEN-To Gen for Proof see your Above comment. I always feel Kirby gets a bit of tough time.

I remember people not liking it because of the talking/text, as well as it being not in traditional locations, AND because of FLUDD. People think it was a "gimmick". They clearly have no idea what that word means.

Nothing else really comes to mind, but I personally think Mischief Makers and Goemon deserves a lot more love than it currently has.
