Dunno if this is already a thread, but tell me kids, what's that one game that defined a pinnacle moment for you in life? Whether it was a game that made you laugh the most, made you relaxed, helped you find friends, or even encouraged your interest in making it a career some day. What's that game that gave you so many wonderful new experiences?
For me, I think the two games that changed and shaped my youth the most are Super Mario 64, and Kingdom Hearts. Super Mario 64 was my very first video game, and it just changed everything for me. If I was having a bad day and I couldn't solve my own problems, I knew I could always solve the problems in the paintings and best Bowser.
Kingdom Hearts came later, and it changed how I saw video games. The beautiful art and fun Disney cameos got me thinking about what I wanted to do in my life, and how I could make people happy, and I decided I wanted to draw. Kingdom Hearts is what got me into art and without it, I don't know if I still would've been in it today!
