GAME NOT DOING ANYTHING? Villager speech bubble blank ??

Well i am cycling so i am talking to my dreamies everyday and i am talking to rosie, and she put up her speech bubble, and that's it ?? Rosie and my mayor are just standing there, help? :O
( i can just exit the game and reload, but this is weird xD )

I haven't had this happen, but sometime it takes 3-5 seconds for them to say anything and it will just be blank.
