Game freezes on dialog....?

This happened once before but I reset and shrugged it off. But just now it happened again on another DS with a different game cartridge. I walk in someone's house and start a convo but the dialog pops up then nothing works, but character animation and bg music still goes -.-

Has this ever happened to anyone?

It happened to me yesterday with Shep D:

No...but I have had some lag where for a second, the text wouldn't show up but then it would start running. One time though, I was talking with Butch and the text was going fine, but once I pressed A to go to the next page of text, it wasn't there! The game wasn't frozen though because I pressed A again and he's like, Thanks for going to get those signatures for me! Apparently he asked me to get him signatures even though the text didn't show up...weird.

That's never happened to me before... i just know there's a pause in the whole game when I check the board outside of Re-Tail. That makes me nervous!
