Game crashes

Hi, everything was doing fine until I tried to go to a friend's garden to share a few bats and BAM! The game crashed on the loading screen.
I tried to shut it, didn't work, uninstall it, didn't work either.
Is anybody else experiencing crashes since the beginning of the new event?

Yes! After my 2nd time trying to visit to see if my hypothesis for the new flower thing to a friend's sidebar was right Blam, I crashed and can't get back in...

It started working fine again for me after something like half an hour, without any explanation. Is it working again for you too?

I have had that happen a few times too. And longer scrolling wait times for everything is getting annoying too. I am thinking the new event is resulting in a lot more people playing which is the cause maybe? I wish they could fix this.
