Spinning around, I fire a shot at the blob, trying to aim at the side of it away from Anya so there's no risk of hitting her.

I climb out the water and shake like a dog. "Ew." I use my assualt riffle to shoot the blob.

I fire a shot at it. Their seems to be no effect, but it seems to be metallic in some sort. "We're going to need explosives," I conclude.

"I'm coming down," I say, then disconnect my headset. "Wendy, you stay with the ship until I return," I order, grabbing a grapple, my gun, a few explosives, and jumping down the sinkhole.

"Resources that we don't have available until Tahlya gets all the way down here, unless someone happens to have grenades on them. It could have a weak point though, if we observe it."

I eventually find the small hole and jump straight in, landing in the cold water. Swimming quickly to the shore, I activate each explosive and throw it at the object.

The blob attacks/hits me. "I'm hit, I'm hit!" In the distance the sound of explosives can be heard through the mic.

"Is every ok out there" I say into the headset.

"What do you think? This is a land filled with pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows? No! Get your butt over here!"

"Here," I say, pulling out an emergency First Aid kit. "Do whatever you need to with this," I say, looking out for the blob. I seemed to have destroyed it, but I can't be sure, I think, holding out my gun around the lake.
