Fustrations with Blathers.

Why is he more random than my actual villagers when it comes to suggesting a PWP? First of all, I've been able to 'unlock' the Museum second floor about a week or little over a week since the save file was created, but Blathers did not even mention it until almost a week and a half later! I swiftly built it, and am now waiting for him to suggest the Roost Cafe PWP. It's been a week since then. Just how random does it have to me?!

I suppose this can be considered a minor rant, but.. bleh. It's frustrating having to wait for such a random occurrence to happen.

It isn't random, it is a result of how much you've donated to the museum.

I know. I have well over 50 things donated, spread across all four types of items you donate. But it is random after you've met the requirements. I've had an old savefile where he suggested the Roost the day after the Museum Second floor was suggested.

I think you have to wait 7 days, then catch Blathers 'thinking'.

I’m LITERALLY dealing with the same thing for my 2nd town. For some reason, Blathers isn’t suggesting The Roost. I’ve TTed so many times and have way over 50 items donated (all four categories) and he will not suggest it.

Some might suggest not to TT, but I was able to do it and get it in my 1st town. So, Khaelis.. you ain’t alone my friend, lol.

Update: I just opened my 3DS and put the time back to around 11:30am (just to make it daytime). Blathers was thinking and he suggested The Roost. c:

I know.. this thread was about how he would refuse to think about it. There's no period you have to wait, it's just after you've met the requirement that he will randomly think about it and say something. I've had the second floor and cafe offered to me in the span of a week once, but this save file took me over two weeks.
