Furniture help!

Been playing since it first came out and have not got one decent furniture set! My shop is always rubbish! Really trying to make my town look good but struggling with my really rubbish catalogue - has anyone any advice on this? I’ve been gifting villagers but again nothing great

Just have to work with what little there is, and hope they bring the NL stuff into NH.

Yeah I don't have a whole set either. And honestly I don't even care about that as much as I would because my furniture set colours are ugly lol. I really do hope they bring back NL's stuff and also Cyrus to change the colours for us. Or have Sable sell us fabric and other furniture resources so we can do it ourselves. I mean, the game already has a furniture problem without all that!

I feel ya in this department! I'd say maybe do some cataloging from others when and if you can-- and fingers crossed for the return of NL items.

I've managed to get the antique set in dark brown and half of the imperial set in blue, but nothing else shows up. I have hardly any rattan, cute, or other colours of the sets I have already. I think the game picks from a small pool of preselected items for each island

Lots of people in the airport forum have free cataloging events. They'll have several sets out to catalog for free so you can order them when you're back on your island. That's where I got most of my furniture.

Echo this. I cataloged a lot of stuff at multiple cataloging events here. You can keep an eye on the board for future events. Nook’s cranny board also has some cataloging service for a fee that you can check out. Or if you are just interested in certain series, you can post in the Wishing well thread at the airport, so people can help you out.

What full sets are you looking for?
I have a few, I’d let ya pick up and drop so then you could catalogue.

I feel like catalogue trades is the only way to get full furniture sets. The airport on this website is also a good place to look for peeps to catalogue trade with.

I've been having a hard time finding any kitchen or bathroom stuff that I like! things will show up very rarely but they'll be in the wrong colours also having to wait around to be given DIY recipes can be such a pain sometimes

u can get 2 pieces of furniture per day on ur island if you shake all your trees (u also get some bell coins and up to 5 wasps). u can also find one piece of furniture and one wasp on mystery islands that don't only have fruit trees (so like if an island only has fruit trees then u wont find furniture, but if it's a mix of fruit & non-fruit trees, or just non-fruit trees then there will be furniture. this is excluding coconut trees). farming balloons may also be a nice way to get furniture as well, and as other ppl have said attending cataloging events is also a good way to complete sets.
