Funny or sad stories about villager clothes?

I don't have any stories that are as funny as the ones already posted haha
I only have the usual shirt problems, where every villager seems to want to wear the bird shirt from Able Sisters. It's quite annoying, I wish they would keep their normal shirts! And then I try to fix it by sending them new shirts in letters, but instead they decide to just put those new shirts in their house

I have the same problem with shirts I sent getting displayed but I've recently stopped blaming villagers. Those shirts look like valuable exhibition pieces in comparison to their sad attempt at fashion after all

THIS GOSH DANG TEE


It first started with Flurry and then she talked to Savannah who then talked to Bob, I thought it was gonna spread but Thankfully Bob changed back. One time Flurry asked me to trade a shirt in my pockets with her and I was getting extremely happy that she was gonna finally take the thing off so I traded happily. I waited for her to change but nothing..
The Next day, she's still wearing the shirt, then I find her in her house and the shirt I gave her was used as decoration! LIKE IT WAS JUST SITTING THERE.

Flurry has also done so many things but, I forgive her because she is my second favourite sjhd

In 2011 or 2012, my brother would make shirts on CF with now-outdated memes on them. At one point, nearly the entire town was wearing his drawing of the Epic Face or whatever it was called as their shirt.

All my villagers had on the moldy tee. :[ And I currently can't get Kyle to change out of some horrific shirt I can't remember the name of.

In my current town, Kyle got into a conversation with Freya in front of my Train Station and I saw Kyle change into a picnic tee and it looks HORRIBLE on him. I don't know how he managed to change into this shirt, but I'm guessing it somehow ended up in Freya's inventory and she dumped it on him. Now, don't get me wrong, it's super difficult to prevent your villagers from changing into different clothes unless you just ignore them or something, but...

KYLE. WILL. NOT. SHUT. UP. ABOUT. HIS. SHIRT!

Every time I talk to him, he mentions his damn picnic tee! Like.. WHY?! Talk about something else! Make me catch you a fish or something stupid! Anything but the clothes! Imagine Kyle in THIS, and he NEVER shuts up about it.

I'm honestly fearing that his picnic tee disease will spread to my other villagers. e-e

Update. The disease has spread to Portia. Thank the Lords she is not staying.
