last week i gave one of my villagers *eugene* the Star Costume *because hes my towns 'elvis' lol!*
and hes been wearing Nothing But That Costume since i gave it to him, and today when i went to visit him, he commented on it saying that its his favorite outfit! its hilarious!! i should have given him the white one instead though LOL!
does anyone else have silly stories like this to share?
heres eugene sporting his awesomeness lol
I delivered a package from some villager to Colton once and it contained a purple bath towel wrap. And he wouldn't stop wearing it. Ugh! He'd be out watering flowers in the bath towel wrap. I talked to Isabelle to try to get him to wear something else but that didn't work so I ended up bumping him out with a different amiibo and then bringing him back.
It's crazy enough (not to say illogical in the real world) when you have a battle to reel a fish in and it turns out to be . . . an old tire, an old can, an old boot, or a stone. (Show me the old tire that tried to fight you on the end of your fishing line, and I'll show you the Michelin Man muttering before dawn, "Time to make the donuts . . . ")
It's crazier when you do it with one of the villagers (or Wilbur on the dock) looking right at you and then applauding you the way they do when they're looking right at you while you reel in a real fish. You almost want to make them wear the tire for a belt, can them, boot them, or stone them, hollering, "Hey, brain! What's so great about reeling in trash or a stone?!?"
I was struggling to place some tiki torches in the perfect spot, especially because Cherry kept getting in my way. I nudged her out of the area multiple times when finally she ran to the exact spot I was trying to place the torch and sat down. She said something along the lines of "I only want to take a little rest," all while staring me down with her little smirk.
I find it always funny when you walk into their house and they are sitting on their "thrones" wink wink
Then you proceed to talk to them and they say something on the line of "oh how fancy to see you here"
What are you talking about!? close the DOOR claus!!
It wasn't me, but the person I got Elvis from had given him a frugal outfit. This kingly lion, whose default clothes is the royal shirt and whose home is filled to the brim with gold and zodiac items, spends half his time walking around in a raggedy patchwork shirt, looking like a peasant. He loves that thing and it's terrible.
