Fruits on Trees....okay?

Hey guys, just wondering if I keep my fruit on the trees for long periods. Does it rot or will it be fine on the tree? Also, looking for other towns to sell my peaches! So shoot me your FC!

It's totally fine. I never shake my fruit trees because I like the look.

I don?t shake my trees, I?m not in need of money, but I still do Turnips, so I get a pretty good income, also I catch bugs if I?m running low
I am starting a plantation though, where I will be shaking them, but not the ones that are for decoration.

I rarely shake my fruit trees. I'm trying to get all the tree's in my town. I just need Peaches, Pears. Cherries and Persimmons (if that's spelt right) then i think i'll have them all.

Actually, if you don't shake a tree with perfect fruit on it, it may rot. I went to a dream town and they had rotten pears on their trees. (They don't change in appearance though, the look like perfect fruit!)

I actually ran into something very odd concerning this just today. I usually harvest my Perfect Apple trees, and today when I shook one of them, one of the apples that fell off said it was rotten. I have no clue what happened and am still extremely confused.
