Fruit Tree Questions

Hello Everyone!

I am curious on how many of each fruit tree you grow in your town?

Also I would like to know how you lay them out so I can get some general ideas to help me town look its best and efficient.

you can visit my dream address if you want to see how I've done mine I've only really concentrated on the areas by the town hall, police station and re-tail.... and like one villager's house. The rest is pretty much random and loads need to be chopped down. I'm hoarding normal saplings now in preparation for the spring blossoms (even though they're like months and months away) xD My town is a bit of a mess in some areas lol.

Hrm, I don't know what the limit is... however don't go tree crazy or it'll be tough to spot the bugs. One rule I like to follow is keeping fruit trees in a particular area of the map, therefore whenever I search for the 2x daily furniture drops from the 2x normal trees, I won't have to travel all around town shaking.

I don't have specific numbers as such, I have fruit trees wherever I planted a fruit. I don't have that many though because I'm not using them as a way to make money like I did in other games. Plus I want lots of non-fruit trees for the cherry blossom, I had only 1 cherry blossom tree in WW and I never really got to experience it properly!

I have spread them out though, in case a villagers plops down in the middle of my apples for example then I always have at least one other to replant the population!

I have 6 trees of each village fruit (makes 2 baskets @). I have 3 trees of each island fruit (makes 1 basket @, worth less than village fruit). I also have 9 bannana & 9 coconut trees on the beach (makes 2 baskets @). Then I have 12 trees of my perfect fruit. I know I could replace any/all of the other fruit trees with my perfect fruit, but I like having all of the different fruits in my town. I plant at least 3 of the village & perfect fruit trees along the train track fence (less likely that a villager will plop their house down on top of it). I don't do this with the island fruit, because you can always go back to the island and get more to plant. The rest of the fruit trees I bunch them together around town, trying to put them near PWP, buildings or my 4 characters houses.

I also have lots of non-fruit trees because I want cherry blossom trees and cedar trees because I want chirstmas trees, plus I shake bells, furniture and yes sometimes bee hives out of them almost everyday.

Feel free to check my dream address to see how I do mine. I kind of cluster the different types of trees in their own area. TT and fill up most of the space really, but there's paths between them.

The cherry blossom trees are any non-fruit tree (not cedar) that turns pink in early April and pink cherry blossoms/leaves fly thru the air. I've watched several Youtubers Lets Plays and it looks beautiful. I can't wait until next April.

The blossom trees are non-fruit, non-cedar trees. You can buy more from Leif. They are the 'saplings' rather than the cedar saplings that he sells. FYI, if you buy 50 saplings &/or cedar saplings, Leif gives you the golden axe. I was buying every sapling he had from day one.

Mine are random amounts of fruit, I lay them out with a space all sides though if I'm feeling organised.

I typically keep my foreign fruit in groves and let my native fruit "grow wild" and leave them scattered around town. I'm still missing lots of foreign fruit, so I have a grove of peaches near re-tail, mangos in the north-west part of town (which will eventually become "Mango Park" with benches and playground), lychees growing between my town hall and event plaza, and lemons somewhere near my house, with pears and perfect pears scattered everywhere. This works really well for me. I just need to get more fruit.

Mango Park sounds like a cute idea!
