Currently, I have tons of fruit trees, but I mostly have them scattered about my town. I was thinking about replanting all of my fruit trees and making fruit orchards. I was just curious of how any of you grew your orchards, and possibly post pictures of how they look?

I grew all of my fruit in my first town around my Re-tail, which is also right next to my house. It's convenient for me, I usually only pick fruit for my villagers, Shrunk, or Re-Tail. It's not really organized though, and I don't have any pics of it ^.^' I'd recommend going for it, though. It keeps things organized.

I have some of my trees grouped together, but as long as I can remember where most fruit is planted, I don't worry too much about having them all together. Still, I should get around to planting a lychee tree or two...
I want at least one of each fruit in my town. Right now my foreign fruit trees are next to buildings where they won't get eaten should a villager move in randomly--ain't gonna happen. Later I'm going to make an orchard some place. I had an ideal area in mind for it, but it eats a big chunk of the cedar region in the north. I have another spot in mind, but I think I'll wait 'til all my Dreamies are moved in. Don't want to lose any fruit through an accident. x3

Bottom - I have a well there because there are two spots where trees won't grow, ever. I tried FOUR DAYS in a row.

I don't have lychee, mango, etc. Villagers never ask for it, so I see those trees as a waste of space.

i'm pretty simple so i only have 1 tree of each besides my oranges. xD i do love the peach and cherries, though. you can put fruit on the ground around the orchards, maybe? i've seen that before and it looks really cute.

Aw, your orchard is super cute. I like the well next to it, that's a great idea.
I only have orchards of perfect pears but they aren't planted in neat rows. I have them out of the way in the areas that I don't really use, just to harvest them whenever since I do fruit trades a lot. The rest of my fruit trees I just plant them around my paths. I should probably make my orchard look neater though but I'm too lazy now.

If your orchard isn't in rows, but it still works for you - why change it!

I have a perfect pear orchard around and south of the town hall.
And a trail with the original 5 fruit. And another trail with the new fruit. And a trail with all 10.
That's about it. The rest is mostly random

I have foreign and native fruits all around the corner of my town, and I don't harvest them xD mainly for decoration only~ And I have one specific area for my perfect peaches and is my orchard~ you can visit my DA 4700-3333-7766 to see how it look like~

My fruit trees are all over the place. I didn't want any of the default oak trees in my town but cedars will only grow on the upper half, so all the random trees on the south half of my map are fruit of various sorts.
Personally I think orchards look too bulky... I prefer my fruit trees to be spread out.
I like to match fruit trees with villager houses, hahaha! For example Lucy has a pink house so she has peaches around it, Chief has a yellow house so he has lemons, Olivia has a purple house so she has cherries... Etc. It's more fun.
Also, all of my fruit trees are south of my river, up north I only have normal oaks, cedars and bamboo, and each species is it's own forest, they are not mixed (Organization freak reporting in).
But I guess orchards are more convenient if you pick fruit often!

I have a picture of mine in my sig :3 I have my fruit trees arranged in rows at the bottom left of the east side of my map. I have everything except for persimmons (because they're ugly >>) and Rudy lives in the middle of the orchard as my little caretaker... mostly because his house was where I wanted to build my orchard and I didn't want to move him out. xD

The pictures are kinda old but I kinda tried to plant a lot of similarly colored fruit trees in a row, trying not to put same fruit trees next to each other, then I planted flowers that fit the fruit color?s next to them. And also put some bushes inbetween spaces! (Sweet olive, holly and hydrangea bushes are great for this, since most fruits are red, orange or yellow.)
I also really like creating tree tunnels in general.
And some more recent pictures (Those dont really focus on the orchards that much but you get the idea.)

I have a TON of fruit trees, 1 massive orchard, taking up about an eight or a sixth of the land on the map, and then one smaller one in the lower part of the island, about 2/3 the size of the bigger one... I get almost 100k each time from them, without perfect fruits (have around 800k worth of them in my dresser)
My Retail is near the train tracks on the north west side of my town, but there was enough space around it to plant a lot of fruit trees, so it has my perfect and regular peach trees. South from there, on the edge of town on the left, I have three trees for a lot of fruit. I didn't have enough room for other fruit trees, so my pears are near my mayor's house, behind Rod's house, and my mangos are next to an alt's house.
I pretty much places all my trees in places that I know would be hard to knock down if someone were to move in on them.

I have mostly peaches, perfect peaches and regular saplings throughout my town. Behind a row of my villager houses I have a small orchard I guess, with the campsite in it. So I guess it's more of a small forest area as the trees aren't perfectly organized.
I do have a 2x3 persimmon grove as I like how they look.
