Fruit is counted as trash?

Im working on my town and currently i have alot of fruit, and perfect fruit baskets laying on the ground. Isabelle says that there is too much garbage on the ground but all thats on the ground is the fruit and some stumps. Does fruit now count as garbage from the new update or is there something hidden thats making the game think theres trash on the ground? Thanks

Nobody leaves fruit on ground, so they came with the idea of having it considered as garbage.

i'm not positive on this but i believe fruit baskets are considered trash! single pieces of fruit are ok though

Fruit baskets, and actually also perfect fruit, unless they fixed that with the amiibo patch.

i think anything that isn't fruit is counted as trash and anything that is buried is fine (i could be wrong though) i also thought in the past if you had more than 6 or 7 items out on the ground then they're counted as garbage too! so there's a limit, perhaps?
