Are you able to wait awhile? I was supposed to get a villager this morning from someone but the villager isn't showing up in my town when I do the plot reset trick (I know for sure the villager wanted to move in). I'm also having to wait for someone to come and get a villager that is in boxes. :c

My friend finally came to get the villager who was moving out. The villager I am supposed to receive isn't coming (I think the person hasn't updated their game to where the villager isn't in their town anymore. The person has been gone all day so I can't ask them about it). So I can try to invite Filbert since I have 8 villagers only but I'm not sure if it'll work or not since I've already asked a villager to move in but they haven't yet.
