I added someone to my friends list on Switch a while back and they play Animal Crossing New Horizons, when they played with me, I noticed that there were two of the same character but on different files on my game's friends list. I know they had to restart their file but despite this it shows two.
Is there a way to have this unstuck or is it stuck like this? I never added them the first time they played so it's weird that the first one of them is there. The character and town's name is the same on both of them because that's what they wanted to do I think. One is a best friend in my game while the other is just a friend.
