Friendly Dream Reviews/Roast Me

Aww thank you! I can still visit your DA if you want. Roasts are just to make me laugh, but if you want me to look at anything in particular in your town, I can.

Oh sure! Why not! :)

The current save of my DA is very incomplete though! None of the interiors are done either :P

Okay, I'll skip them then and focus on the outside. I'll update this post with my review.

Review:
How did you get the presents to be in that wrapping paper? :O Oh it's all the balloon stuff ahaha! I'm gonna wear the hat though. I like your path a lot. I don't think I've seen it. Also Mira is moving in! I love her! I think the area to the right of the plaza could use some stuff in it so it's not just empty. Maybe a PWP and some flowers or some bushes and bamboo. Same thing with the small space on the left above the farm. Maybe fill it in with some stuff. I like the little hammock area that's cute! The area in the bottom left corner with the tiki torches could use maybe a bench or something and some bushes/trees and flowers too. Or since it's in front of the house maybe a fountain or something. Like you could move the statue fountain over if it will let you (Idk if you hack or not).
I actually kind of like the fairytale clock in the path by the town hall. I think it's a good way to break it up. You have a few paths that kind of dead-end, so I think you should either put something there or get rid of them. There's a big open space under the police station/above the cafe. I'm curious what you're going to put here lol. Is it going to be a little park or something like that? That would be cute I think. Is Eponine a Les Mis reference? I like the bus stop at the top of the path and how the camera tilts as you come up on it. That's well-placed. I think the top right corner by the waterfall could use a bench or something to look out over the waterfall on. Maybe line the path with some bushes or trees and make it a cute little alcove. Hopefully I was able to help a little? Your town is very nice so far I like the main paths a lot and the little wooden ones you used as well. I think once you get those blank areas filled in it will look really nice. ^^ I didn't go in the houses cause you told me not to, but the outsides look nice! Let me know if you want me to visit again when you update!

Still taking requests! And roasts. Always roasts. If I can get my forest town DA updated sometime soon I can add that one to the mix as well.

Thank you for visiting! Those presents at the town tree had to be shot down from the sky in their precise locations ^_^ I also created my own paths, so that's probably why you haven't seen them around. :) They're very simple due to my very limited skill with path pattern making haha! The empty spaces around the plaza are definitely WIPs and they will be filled in the coming weeks. So will the area in front of the southern most house :) The statue fountain has actually already been demolished (I was only testing out the spot at that time). I also don't hack unfortunately, so I have to follow the restrictions Isabelle gives me with placement. Haha. And yes, the spot by the waterfall will also be filled eventually ^_^ I work on the town from the centre outwards, that's why the edges are the most incomplete lol. Thank you so much! I will definitely come back for another review once I'm done :D

And yes, Eponine is named after the Les Mis character <3

I'm so pleased with my reference skills! XD Also you have exponentially more talent than I do at making paths because all of the ones I use are QRs, so... Definitely hit me up again when you update.

Firstly, thank you for your roast. It was highly amusing. XD Pango was a starting villager in that town, and I just grew to like her through playing normally for a while. She threw my mayor her first birthday party, but I'm probably like the only person who likes her lol.
As with most towns I get super excited when there's stuff around the plaza for me to pick up and wear. Dress for the ladies? Nah, I'll wear the frog costume. This outfit just amuses me greatly every time I stumble upon it. Your path is really cute though. Very bright and fitting for the season it's in, and you're also set at my favorite hourly theme time. I love the 7PM music. So peaceful. ^^ I think to the right of the town plaza with that path lined with flowers along the river, you have space to add some trees or bushes on the other side of the flowers, and I think it would help fill in that area a little more.
I like the little log bench area next to the campsite it looks nice with the little path leading up to it. I think just in general with flowers in your town you can add more to a lot of areas. Your town is a good mix of natural and paved, so I think in some areas it's okay to add a variety of flowers and then in others to have a more uniform pattern. In most of my paved towns I pick a color scheme for each villager, two flowers that match it and look good with their house then I checker them just because it looks uniform and nice which is usually the look I'm going for, but I have been enjoying my forest town which uses lots of different flowers just scattered around. You can do both in this town, and I see you have done both in several areas. Flowers are that tricky aesthetic that you kind of have to play with and try different combinations until you like them.
I really like your fountain area under the train station. It's very nice. The area all the way in the top right of the map is an area I think you could fill in with more flowers or paths near the waterwell. Same right underneath with the police station. Your little park area is cute. I think it could use a bench or a drinking fountain or something small to fill it in a bit more if you can fit it. I really like the bush and special stump walkways. They look nice and clean. Your mayor's house is so cute!
Overall, I think you could use more flowers in most areas in general. You could maybe pick a color scheme for the town and eliminate all flowers that don't match it. As far as looking repetitive, there are only so many flowers in the game, so there will be some repeat, and that's perfectly fine. I hope this was helpful a little bit! >< Thanks for roasting me, and let me know if you need anything else or want me to look at anything else in particular!

Thank you so much for the ideas! I really appreciate them all and I'm working on moving forward with my town now! I definitely agree that a lot of areas need more flowers. I have been going to the island and grabbing a bunch during tours for just more filler flowers. As well as watering the ones I have. So I'm sure I'll have a lot more flowers in no time! I'm glad you enjoyed my roast. I really did enjoy both towns. Your decorating in your houses is on point and I loved the landscaping! I am sure with time you'll find new ways to make yourself even happier with it! :)

Honestly, I just really want to roast :p Sorry haha ^^;
But, I quite recently finished my town and I'm 100% happy with it, but I'm curious to hear other people's opinions! (clothes n stuff by the train station)
