I will sell them once they're either in boxes or I've already gotten Coco and Rosie in another trade. Don't want to lose the chance to get my more valuable desired villagers by selling off what I have to offer.
e-e Just when I cycled Punchy out of my cycle town too...
If I find him on my main town, can I request a hold on Fauna until I get him into boxes? I know someone who is selling him.
...I really want Fauna, if you can't tell. Haha.

Sure! You could also just outright buy him for me and let me pick him up from the other person if you get him from the person that's selling him. I can work on getting Fauna moving as soon as I get home here in less than half an hour.
