Hello! I'd love to enter the giveaway for Raymond. I loved his design the moment I saw it (I'm a big sucker for heterochromia), and I love the cat villagers in general. I'm even thinking of trying to form an all-cats village once I get a physical copy of the game and have access to the family Switch! (Rather than the Switch Lite and digital copy I've been using, lol). Since finding Marshal, I'm unable to look for him using the campsite method, and there's no way I could afford him... So, for the moment, I've been entering these when I see them.

Although I know my chances of winning are low, thank you for doing this!

Raymond will be the "Icon of my Village", a reminder that even a beginner or newbie in the game just like me will able to rise to the top tiers.

Since I started playing ACNH, I was bullied for almost a month now by my schoolmates. They keep on telling me I that I am cursed, weak gamer, noob-newbie, and should just quit playing ACNH because I started with two low tier villagers and that I would never had a chance to have a top tier villager. I tried ignoring them because I just wanted to enjoy the game. But these bullies keeps on pushing me down, telling me to quit.

As I saw Raymond in social media news, he reminds me that he too started as a newbie character in ACNH just like me, but look at him right now.. he is the top tier villager among all. I believe that he is destined to be in my village. Because today unexpectedly, Greta a low tier villager is leaving my village, maybe your Raymond is really destined to live in mine.

Raymond. For my partner who has built a replica of Raymond’s house in his own house, as his shrine to Raymond. This hard to find character is his favourite smug villager and he talks about him at every opportunity, his clothes, his house, his business theme... He just loves this smug cat.

There’s a place already picked out for Raymond on our island next to his house so he can be as close to Raymond as possible. He is very dedicated to Raymond, and I am dedicated to getting this cat for him.

After unforeseen reasons, I'm restarting my island. I already have Raymond, except he's going to a close friend since we agreed that they cannot hold him. I am giving him away to them because they want him, so I guess there's a win for that! I just want to able to see him again on my new island.

Wow this is actually really nice of you to hold this. I really like and want Raymond not because of the hype and he's expensive / popular but because he has heterochromia and I actually think it's unique and beautiful. I honestly wish he wasn't overpriced that way I could just get him myself and I have had no luck finding him, he is a dreamie of mine and I plan on keeping him with me forever.

I’d love to enter for Sherb!! He’s my favorite goat villager, and I am obsessed with goats. I’ve raised them for 9 years and he somehow reminds me of my oldest goat, Coal. Plus he’s freaking adorable! I mean, look at that face!

Hi! I'd love Raymond, and the reason why is a pretty long story-

I first got him on my campsite and he moved in! At first I planned to give him to someone who wanted him since he wasn't a dreamie of mine at first, but that spectacled cat quickly grew on me. Every afternoon he'd walk down to my beach to sit under a coconut tree and eat a sandwich. I'd give the little business cat every sweater vest, tux, or button-down top I'd find at Able Sisters and eventually he had w whole selection of work clothes to choose from so he wouldn't have to use the same shirt every day- I think he appreciated it. Eventually he picked up the custom catchphrase I picked for Papi, "clipclop." It didn't make much sense for a cat to use the sound of hooves on pavement as his catchphrase, but I respected his choices, so I let it be.

One day while browsing the AC Discord server, I saw a post looking for Raymond and explaining that the poster, let's call him Ken, had a cat with the same name who passed the previous day, and he would love to have Raymond on his island, and I, having had my dog pass in June last year (and bought Nintendogs for my 3DS to buy a golden retriever keep the memory of him alive, but that's another story)- I knew his pain. I reached out to him and let him know I was willing to part with my friend so he could be a new companion to someone who needed him more, and proceeded to TT Raymond out.

Raymond pinged me to move, I said my goodbyes and let him go. Ken came over to invite him to his island, and that was that. I then began my search to adopt Raymond from someone else, running through Discord, Reddit, and Nookazon- you name it. I missed my business cat, but honestly had underestimated how difficult it was to get him. I bid all I could, yet was always outbid by someone else. After a few weeks I tried to make an offer on someone taking bids for Raymond, and I was surprised to see that I had already had messages with the seller. To my horror and disbelief, it was Ken. He changed his Discord display name and decided to resell my Raymond with a buyout price of 1,500 NMT.

Now I'm hurt that people would lie to others to earn in-game currency, and I don't have enough to get back what I've lost- maybe I should've been more cautious of people, or maybe I shouldn't have given away Raymond in the first place, and I know there are others who want him as much as I do but I'm a little embarrassed by my naivety as well. I know this is absurd but I promise it's 100% real, and needed to get this off my chest

I'll enter for Raymond. I love his design and plus I have heterochromia! I used to get made fun of as a kid because of it and I used to beg my parents to let me wear contacts but they never did. Now that I'm older I love my eyes. I think being unique is a good thing. If I was chosen to receive Raymond, I'll keep and treasure him forever.
