So far I've been enjoying the game and recently got Audie as a villager which made me super excited since she is one of my favorite villagers now, but recently I've been freaking out all night so far.

I was talking to her as usual about 3-4 times in a row, and then after the 4th time, she then told me she needed alone time to think about things before a sad cloud appeared above her head. I then began freaking out wondering if this was a sign that she was going to move out soon, and I've been panicking since because doesn't it damage friendship levels if you talk to a villager until this kind of thing happens?

Do I need to worry at all, is my concern warranted or am I just severely overthinking things here?

don't worry about it! villagers shift their moods to sad/angry after you talk to them so many times in a row. i don't know if this affects friendship levels, but this doesn't make them want to move. i just recommend spacing out your chats with her so she doesn't have a shift in mood

How spaced out do chats need to be to avoid mood shifts? Every hour or so?

And after it happened, I saved and closed the game, reopened it, and then talked to her again and she wasn't demonstrating the sad cloud anymore when I talked to her twice in a row.

After it happened as well, I sent her a letter saying that she was my best friend in hopes it would perhaps raise friendship levels.

Out of pure luck I was able to get Audie to move into one of the plots, and now I'm scared I'm going to lose her if she moves out because of this.
