Francine wanted to see what I've been doing with my home, which is normal.. and when she came by, she REFUSED to go in a certain room. She wouldn't follow me into my right wing, but every other room was fine.

I'm confused, didn't you want to see my whole house? Has anyone else had this bug before?

Yes, and she'll probably send you a letter later saying something along the lines of "maybe next time I'll get to see the rest of your house."

Yeah, I had that bug a couple of times..I thought Nintendo would've fixed it already.

I did reset the game and go back to the time she wanted to come over, and the same thing happened. She treated both times as if she had seen the whole house (they usually turn around and tell you bye after the final room, right?) which is just silly.

I guess I'll see if she 'saw' the whole house in the letter tomorrow, haha!

Never heard of that glitch before. But i had ohare over but he wouldn't come in one room even tho he went in there before i went out of the room and my character looks up at the ceiling while ohare was talking 20180304_124221-1.jpg

Did she even go in the hallway that goes to the room? Sometimes I've had villagers just stand in the hallway and not go all the way into a room but I still could talk to them about the room they wouldn't go into.

She did not appear in the hallway. After leaving the right wing, she was standing around as if nothing happened.
I played some music to see if she spawned in a weird place instead but I didn't hear any clapping.

edit: Ruby came over and she went into every room with no problems. Oh Francine..

I will never let my villagers over ever again.

Wolfgang was in my house for 15 minutes once.

One thing I hate about villagers coming over to your house is that they usually won't leave until they've seen every room. My basement has nothing on its walls so it's annoying when I talk to one of my villagers and they're like "I know why this room is so bland, there's nothing on your walls!" And then in the letter they send me like a clock or something. So I purposely avoid the basement but they still don't leave, so I bring them down there for like 2 seconds without talking to them and bring them back up.

Julian came over today and I showed him my soon to be bathroom which had no wall or floor, but he said the reason why I have nothing in there is because I'm trying to show my "inner artiste". Let's just hope he doesn't send me a wall or floor... (Unless it's something that would fit in a bathroom lol)

but back on topic I've never had this glitch before. The only thing close to it is when they stand in the hallway but they still talk to me like they're inside the room

if you show them every room, they'll leave pretty quickly after entering the last one. I'm not sure if you HAVE to talk to them while doing so though.

I remember when I first started I put a shirt on the wall so they stop talking about how bland my walls are. my basement is also the most boring area so I show that for maybe 5 seconds and leave, haha.

it's a strange glitch and I have NO idea how it happened. nothing out of the ordinary happened beforehand, and I didn't mess with the room. Francine has her own taste I guess! (though she has seen my whole house before)

Wolfgang saw every room and still stayed 15 minutes.

It's a waste of my time.
They give you a 'gift' that will end up in the trash, plus my house should be my private place, but no.
They barge in.
At that point, I turn off without saving, as they won't get the better of me.

Yeah, this just happened to me a couple of days ago. Hamphrey asked to come over, then wouldn't follow me into any room despite saying, "So what does your other room look like?" He sent me a letter the day after, saying he would have loved to see all my rooms so he'd like to visit again soon. Ugh.
