I often see many users here buying a large amount of these, yet I've never figured out why. I know you can plant them again and they don't count as weeds, so I can understand the landscaping potential there, but is that really the reason? It just seems off to me that a user would need that many.

Quite a few landscapers like to make clover checkerboard patterns on their grass and beaches. I tried it on my little private beach and it looks really nice. So yeah, pretty much for the decorative potential.

Adding to what Jordandelion said: People also like to integrate them into their paths, not to mention you can use them to make cute 1-tile paths in your town. I have also seen a lot of forest towns that use a lot of flowers and clovers between the trees to give everything a more overgrown/foresty aesthetic.^^

yeah, usually when someone buys them in bulk it's for pathing reasons. they want something more natural but don't want to create / don't like the look of dirt paths.

It was mentioned somewhere that it boosts the HHA rating. I forget who said that. Pretty sure it wouldn't stack though. Also someone assumed wearing one counted as a lucky clothing item. Pretty sure that isn't the case. Of course neither of these are a reason to get 50 plus.

I use lots of them.

They look good with mushrooms, and make natural paths look even better, as I never use patterns.

We normally use clovers if we don’t want to waste pattern slots. Plus, people won’t even have to worry changing it’s seasonal colors.
