Wow...holy carp! Honestly, mine just grew by accident, pretty much. I do have fewer tulips than pink roses, tho; I have about 10 of those, and also a few orange cosmos and tulips. I really need to get my town rearranged and be more diligent!

I would LOVE them, Lea! Thank you! I can't wait to get my town straightened out and the flowers in the best places. But my Town Hall is very PINK oriented, so I'd be very pleased to have some!

Ankhes, if you are looking for pink hybrids, you can have some pink lilies too. So make sure that when you come tomorrow to get the tulips, you have room in your locker for 30 pink lilies, too.

Just popping up to say -- so it's not just me then? Because I have found tulips to be harder than anything. Roses sprawl everywhere for me; carnations too. Lilies and violets I'm pretty good with. Tulips? GAH. I probably need to just really focus on them for a bit? But anyway, just glad it's in their nature and not just me being extra bad with them or something!

sorry to butt in.. I feel like blue roses or whichever ones require two the same type and colour of hybrids are the easiest to grow. I've been really slow with tulips (esp orange ones).

No, it's not just you. Tulips, especially the pink (for me, anyway ) are sooooo hard to grow a decent number of. Love growing carnations and roses, so much easier!

Ok, I am feeling much better about my gardening skills! yeah, it's sad, blue roses were such work in City Folk and I have a field of them in New Leaf. Pink tulips just sprung up everywhere in CF and in NL....ugh. I think I have managed 3 ever. Going to buckle down and work on them now -- I'm inspired!

I'm so glad it's not just me, either! I did try to breed some, and then gave up for awhile and am focusing on earning bells and fixing my messed up town. But yeah, I got a few of some things, but VERY few tulips. Oh, and ONE blue pansy!

I find pink tulips easier to grow from a red and a white than from two pinks. But maybe that's just my town. It's the only hybrid I've found so far like that.
