Forgetting DIY glitch?

Hey guys!
So just then i picked up a angled signpost diy from a message in a bottle and i know for sure that i previously learnt it because i have one crafted near my campsite + it's registered on my nook exchange xD but i was just button mashing and i turns out i learn it again? Has this happened to anyone before?

I've had 3 total disappear, but luckily nothing else has disappeared since the post. Pretty annoying bug especially since some DIYs you literally can't get again (Nook Miles)

i thought i saw someone with the same problem before!!! There's so many bugs in ac OTL i hope they solve this one soon cuz i dont wanna loose my seasonal diys :/

This may be silly but are you sure it wasn't an angled signpost diy? I know there is a normal signpost and an angled one XD If it is a glitch I didn't know about it!

no no not silly at all!! I have both and im like 100% sure i have both cuz they're both on my island and marked down on my nook exchange HAHAHAH

I thought before that I had certain DIY's but then I remembered that I was given some items (like the garden wagon) by my villagers without actually unlocking the DIY recipe.
Though the game is quite buggy so I wouldn't rule it out.

im pretty certain as I usually double check diys before sellin then and i've sold the angled signpost before too! c:

I thought I forgot certain diys too, but apparently, if you hit sort and look for the item alphabetically, It’s there. example is beekeepers hive Which doesn’t appear, but once I sorted it, it showed up...

I don't think this has ever happened to me, that's weird. I don't get why they would even put a 'Learn' option on a DIY if you already know it

I had this problem with the shell speaker. Learned it and made a few. Gave one to Pate and when my daughter visited and saw it in her house she asked me to make one. When I went to make it the recipe was gone. My biggest worry is one of my really rare ones will disappear.

Kind of had the opposite happen to me once? When I first got the game my friend gave me all her dupes like for the bunny day event and other things she just got over time while playing. She gave me a bunny day back pack but she didn't have a bunny day back pack DIY to give me. I had it suddenly appear in my DIY list and I could craft it just fine.

It made me think that cataloging DIY items would make your character learn the DIY, but was disappointed when it didn't work with her cherry blossom pochette.

i wish they would let us refuse diys we learnt before as well i mean they let us say no when we haven't learnt it before xD
