Forest Themed Town?

So I'm trying to do a forest themed town, and I need help-ish with villagers?

What I thought of so far was (i know it's more than 10):

Erik, Fauna, Beau, Peck, Robin, Maple, Agnes, Ruby, Marshal, Fang, Bill, Molly

I'm not really concerned about villagers personalities, although I don't really want too many normal/lazy/jock villagers

I would really appreciate if someone could help give ideas on which villagers to use/ any other villagers ^____^

I think the choices you listed are pretty good! When I think of a forest theme I think of like... natural?? coloured villagers, so maybe you could also consider these:

Teddy
Anchovy
Sparro
Apollo
Henry
Bunnie
Sally/Poppy/Pecan
Chief

I think squirrels are definitely a good idea in a forest town.. Blaire or Poppy would be my favorites over Marshal, but that's up to you!

I also have a forest themed town (you can see who I chose in my signature!)

here are a list of ones I think visually fit:
Bears: Groucho, Grizzly, Teddy
Cubs: Cheri, Maple, Poncho, Pudge, Tammy, Bluebear
Birds: Any
Ducks: Any, but Bill and Molly are especially nice
Deer: Fauna, Erik, Diana, Deirdre
Eagles: Apollo, Avery
Frogs: Henry, Lily
Rabbits: Cole, Bunnie, Carmen, Dottie, Bonbon
Squirrels: Sheldon, Pecan, Caroline, Poppy, Cally, Sally, Marshal, Blaire
Wolves: Any

That's kind of a big list, but clearly my favorites are below xD the only other one I really wish I had room for was Poppy/Blaire.

Also, with a forest themed town exteriors are kind of important (imo) for the continuity. Here's a look at all the exteriors in case that helps with choices:

I think for the villagers you should have Sally,Teddy,Beau, Erik,Molly,Cheif,Apollo,Deirdre,Fauna and Coco?
