Forced amiibo move out

Just wondering if people have been having the issue where you force a villager out using an amiibo and your new villager ends up moving in but then house is the same as the old villager? :/

I did it this morning. I had no issues. Lolly's house replaced Egbert's old house.
I read somewhere that the glitch may have to do with not having your system sync'd up to the internet or something like that. I don't really time travel ever or disable my wifi or modify system settings so I had no issues.

Or maybe this was patched? I don't know.

Hmm it may be because I time travelled I’ll have to test it out again
