Has anyone been able to get Filly to show up to their campground?

I tried but Harvey just says that nothing is being transferred right now...

My Japanese is very elementary. I went to the Japanese ACNL website and tried to read the directions. It doesn't seem like I need to go to a 7-Eleven to make it work.

But am I wrong?

I also can't seem to get the DLC Open sign. I tried the post office and just got an autumn chair. I'm waiting for it to come by Spotpass, but it's been over a day since these things went live and I've gotten nada!

bumping the thread for you + i thought id mention in this thread im interested in visiting a town with filly in it if anyone has managed to get him. ill pay tbt to visit, need be!

Isn't the Filly DLC only available in Japan?

It is. Anyway hopefully OP you find a solution! Someone actually hosted the event in their town and managed to order some items from them. Not sure how they made it work on theirs though.

I read about that but I believe it's only available in Japan at the moment, if I did read it correctly. I assume they'll do what they did with HHD and release the DLC content in other areas at a later date.

It's only available in Japan, and you have to go to an actual 7-Eleven and connect to their wifi. I had no problems getting her to show up in my campground, though I'm not sure if you can get the 7-Eleven spotpass promotions on a non-Japanese 3DS.

It is a Japanese 3DS- I'm just not in Japan.

I was hoping it was a spotpass even but alas- In person wifi.

I did get my open sign- but only after I had all my villagers get the new spleel from Isabel.

Thank you all for helping to clarify. As I said begore: my Japanese is super rusty.

Do you know if anyone knows how to spoof the Japanese 7-11 SSID? The way you can spoof a nintendo zone here or in europe? It might be worth a try if you have a japanese 3DS.

(also Hi, Valerie!! Glad to see you back!)
