For those who have Holden/Filly...

I'm just curious as to what happens when you have these 2 in your town. Yes I know they can't be obtained natrually. I've seen Holden in dream towns, but not Filly. As far as I know, it's not impossible, just hard.

So my questions are, does the exterior and interior of Filly's house look the same excact as Holden's?
?Are either one of these animals programmed to give you their pic, or will that dialogue never come up?
?Will they let you give them furniture to decorate their houses with?
?If no to the above, can you 'magically' decorate Holden's house yourself, or will that mess up his file or somethin?

Psssst. The character's name is Filly. :3 I also haven't seen Filly in any dream towns, only Holden. I hope someone on here can give you the info on these pretty tough q's. I know Yuki/RedTropicalPeachyFish has (had?) Holden's RV in one of her towns and keeps it within the time frame the RV was available in Japan as Spot/StreetPass.

Everyone else indeed puts the villagers in their towns by magic lol.

I had Holden in one of my giveaway towns. My friend put him in my game for me. I can't speak on Filly, but for Holden: pretty much what happens is that he's treated by the game as a regular villager, and has a jock personality. He talks about food a lot, and also about working out a lot. He has a birthday(June 11) and can participate in everything like legit villagers can. He CAN give you a pic...but when you display it, it's actually a visual pic of another villager (Hamphrey), with a quote from Holden attached('Just stick with it!'). As for his house, his house is like a normal house but he doesn't have his signature fueki furniture. Instead you have to 'magically' change his wall and floor yourself, and then mail him any furniture you want him to put up in his house. He can take regular furniture and give you furniture too.
Holden is pretty much treated like a regular jock type villager in the game. The game doesn't make any difference between him or other villagers at all. The only difference is that he doesn't have a real pic of himself, but he does have a representation of a 'pic', if that makes sense. I think it would be the same for Filly but I don't know because I've never had Filly.

I don't think Filly can be obtained as a villager, even through unnatural means. According to the wiki page, in Japan, her RV could be visited in your campground, and you could buy furniture from her, but she couldn't be invited to the town. So I assume she wouldn't be programmed to have a house / give you her pic / etc in New Leaf. But I could be way off base, tbh. I didn't even know she existed until I looked her up. Huh, I'm starting to think Filly doesn't have a house, not cab she be brought in to the game. Might explain why I never saw her.


kemdi thanks for that info on Holden, quite informative. And I didn't even think about Birthdays That's kinda odd thou that his pic will display as Hamphrey, but he has a signature catchphrase.
