for the samaritan badges, what counts?

I'm guessing that fetching fruit or delivering packages for villagers count towards the Samaritan badges you get from Phineas, but I'm still not sure what constitutes helping out villagers. Does it count when you catch a bug or fish for them? How about helping them with new furniture, or when they ask you for a new greeting or catchphrase? Does it count when they ask you after you initiate a conversation, or only if they ping you first? I'd like to know because I've been stuck on the silver badge for months, and I feel like at this point I should have done enough to get the gold, but I haven't got a clue what has been counted and what hasn't

I would say any request you fulfill counts, no matter if they ping you, or you talk to them first and they give you a task. ^_^

Yeah I'm sure everything counts, I remember it being the very first gold medal I get because I never declined any of my villagers at all, good luck~!

Its very easy to get a badge in i have a silver so far. Yet im still trying to get a silver for fishing alot...
