For Flick to visit

Hi!

I've been waiting for Flick to visit my island but he hasn't yet. I haven't read anything about requirements for him to visit, so it seems to be totally random?

Yes, I think it's completely random. All of the NPC visitors seem a lot more random in this game than they ever were in the past.

I think it is random, there arent any requirements . I had Flick only once so far, but CJ showed up 3 times even though i never sell to him or anything and just ignore him.

I think he can't show up until you have the town hall building? After I got the building he's shown up once a week for me c:

EDIT: Now that you mention it I think I got CJ this week, not Flick.

You sure? Because I thought there was a roulette of special visitors that has been awhile that appeared in town.

Flick hasn't appeared since 2 weeks ago, and yesterday I predicted that he'd return. And after him, i'll be expecting C.J. soon.

Seems to be completely random, I've been playing for about 2.5 weeks now and he has visited twice

It's definitely random. So far I've had them in the order CJ, Flick, Flick, Flick, CJ. With the first two being back-to-back and huge gaps between the rest.

I've had the town hall for a while, and CJ has come two times, + the fish contest.

Crossing fingers to get to meet Flick next week, meanwhile I'm keeping some nice bugs~

In NL, every special visitor was guaranteed to show up once every week after unlocking Katrina's and Gracie's shops. In NH, it seems completely random as I've had Gulliver appear on consecutive days and have had other special visitors not show up for over a week. I don't know why NH doesn't just have everyone show up in random order every week. There are enough days in a week to have CJ, Flick, Gulliver, Saharah, and Kicks show up, especially now that Pete doesn't exist in this game yet.
