FNAF World Recall

For those of you who haven't heard, Scott Cawthon has pulled the surprise Five Night's at Freddy's RPG off steam. Even though it was only a few days after release the complaints piled up and Cawthon has said he was not proud of this early release. He decided to pull the game and is working with steam to admit refunds to anyone who wants them, this function is not currently available. He has decided to rework it and put it up for a free download on GameJolt. Some edits he is going to make on this free full game is a full 3D over world, stat pages, extra menus, etc. I was gifted this game last night mid stream, I am loving it but it seems that I am not in majority. It can be said that Cawthon was at least able to admit his mistakes here. He has also confirmed these refunds here.

What will you be doing?
Getting the refund if you bought the game.
Keeping the game if possible.
Pretending it never existed.
Getting the free download when available.

It depends, I like it a lot and have a lot of fun with it, though it is missing some features, the game is very fun if you like the ideas drawn in from the original games. Some people don't like the graphics or idea of it, depends on who you are a lot.

i will accept the fact that he willingly took down the game, repolishing it and giving everyones money back for free
clearly, he loves his creation as much as some people do
this man is putting his time and dedededication for a franchise he loves

he did handle it extremely well, taking criticism ain't always easy

plus, it's not that bad of a game.

But seriously, I do think he shouldn't have had released it at all if he wasn't happy with it so soon. Wasn't going to buy it, but I don't get why he released it so early when he's not happy about it. Him owning up to it though makes it a bit better.

That's something a developer needs to double check before he releases his game. Just because he wasn't happy with it afterwards doesn't mean he should have recalled it. That's more of just not being into it anymore to me, he should have made sure he was absolutely sure he was ready before doing another fast release like he usually does. At least he made them free but it's a big finically mistake he made by doing so, double check. Once a game releases, that should be it, patches and updates sure, but recalls isn't good. No one just suddenly change their opinion so quickly, he had to had have some type of doubt which should have been cleared before.

I kept my copy of the demo (which he also pulled) just because I loved the game. I think he deserves the money. He may not need it, but he did all of this for his fans.

Scott needs to damn stop releasing games early. I had enough of his bull crap and i got a refund. I don't get it why he does it too please the fans? Rushing games and releasing them early is not pleasing nobody Scott. Get out of FNAF. Stop trying to revive the damn series, it's so useless it's over. Make a new game or heck stop making games in fact.
