Flowers you have trouble growing

It took me almost 2 months to get my first pair of blue roses, and it was the same for purple pansies, and that's with the use of fertiliser. The pairs also will not breed without the use of fertiliser Also, orange pansies and orange lilies seem to grow a lot less than the other flower hybrids. Orange roses seem to be my most common.

In one of my towns the ONLY hybrid that seemed to want to grow was the orange pansies! I had soooo many of them, so many in fact that I ended up selling a lot of them and then storing the rest so I could breed some other colored flowers!
